Dream Signals: Jessi Robertson’s Latest Transmission – October 24, 2025

🌌 Dream Signals: October 24, 2025

Dark Matter News

New York has been a dream so far. The community here is so warm and open! Today will be my third show in a third borough of NY in three days time! Needless to say, I've spent a lot of time on the 1 train and I've enjoyed every moment of it!

The best part of being here is seeing the people I love and getting to be a musician with no other responsibilities for a few days... that and the bodegas. Man, I miss a good bodega when I'm in Nashville. Chef's kiss!

  • TOMORROW! Oct 25 – Online listening party on Bandcamp at 3pm ET / 2pm CT. I’ll be there chatting live. Come hang out and listen to the album with me before it officially arrives on October 31st!
Count down to 2025-10-31T12:00:00.000Z
  • Coming soon – I’ll be announcing a livestream concert to celebrate!

🌌 When it feels so hard, keep on trying

I don't get to be a full time musician most of the time. The last few days have been wonderful. For me, the work of making music is the vacation! I'm so grateful to get to do this. Thank you for joining me on this journey.

I had the greatest time at An Beal Bocht last night! The way that community comes together to support independent music and just to have fun with one another was so inspiring to see! I can’t wait to come back to New York and play there again! Everyone made me feel so welcome! Here’s a little bit of us getting to the gig getting ready to play. @E.W. Thank you so much to Niall Connolly for hosting us at Big City Folk last night at The Vale in Harlem! I’m so grateful for the community he’s created and the thriving music scene in NYC! I was also beyond excited to see friends that I haven’t seen in literal years! To quote Micheal Scott, “My heart soars with the eagle’s nest!” More to come soon and if you’re in the Queen‘s area, we’re heading over to Alewife Brewing tonight at 8 PM with E.W. Harris! I’m also hosting a live online listening party for Dark Matter on Saturday on Bandcamp if you’d like to hear it before it comes out and listen along and chat with me. Shadow War: Singularity album cover

🌌 Dream Signals: January 16, 2026 Shadow War: Singularity Out now! Listen Here! My new single, Shadow War: Singularity, arrives today and I’m so excited to finally share it with you. This version of the song was a collaboration with Aaron Berg (Mountainwalker) and it feels more like a dance, which is appropriate to the song. I drew a lot from Frankenstein and the golems of Jewish mythology. I think I've often felt a bit like a creature, an odd mix of parts that don't quite fit, a clumsy mess...
