🌌 Dream Signals: June 7, 2026

On June 26, I’ll be back in Brooklyn, closing out an evening of songwriters at Freddy’s Bar

It’s a late‑night set (music runs 8pm–11:45pm and I play last), and I’m sharing the night with Omer Leibovitz and more artists to be announced soon. Poster also coming soon.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I am looking forward to seeing all my NYC people!

Meanwhile in Nashville, I've been hard at work recording my upcoming EP, Borderlands, with my co-producer Chris Benelli.

The tracklist:

  1. Lost Boys
  2. Learn to Time Travel
  3. Keep Walking, Keep Looking Ahead
  4. I'll Be the Moon

We recently recorded at Howard's Apartment Studio with Chris, Aaron Berg (Mountainwalker), and Dave Coleman. We've got about one more session left, then on to mixing. I'll have more info soon about the release date. We've been working on this for a long while now and I'm beyond excited to share it with everyone soon.

Just a reminder, Dark Matter is available everywhere. Please listen and share!

🌌 When it feels so hard, keep on trying

I've been working on re-imagining one of my older unreleased songs. There are a couple of things at play here.

First, after being late diagnosed on the autism spectrum, I'm finally beginning to understand myself. And with that understanding, I'm reexamining some of my previously written songs. I feel less negative about myself and my place in the world, and I'm thinking about what that means in my writing.

Second, this song reminded me of why I started writing songs in the first place, so I wanted to change it from the cautionary tale I started with to a more optimistic song about the gift of songwriting and the beauty it brings to the world. So this one goes out to all of you songwriters. Thank you for the hard work you do to create beautiful things with your gifts.

I want the world to know who I am

Sleepless yet I dream, chaos with a plan

Colors running riot underneath this grey

My mind is full of beauty, I'll spill it out and say

This is my gift to you

This is my gift

Here's a bit of background on the song and a live performance.

This is a song I wrote the ages ago, but I just recently rewrote the choruses and the bridge to convey a message that resonates more with me right now. This is for all of my songwriter friends. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world and don’t let anyone tell you that it doesn’t have value.#songwriting #thisismygift

Shadow War: Singularity album cover

🌌 Dream Signals: January 16, 2026 Shadow War: Singularity Out now! Listen Here! My new single, Shadow War: Singularity, arrives today and I’m so excited to finally share it with you. This version of the song was a collaboration with Aaron Berg (Mountainwalker) and it feels more like a dance, which is appropriate to the song. I drew a lot from Frankenstein and the golems of Jewish mythology. I think I've often felt a bit like a creature, an odd mix of parts that don't quite fit, a clumsy mess...

Shadow War: Singularity album cover

🌌 Dream Signals: January 4, 2026 Shadow War: Singularity New music coming January 16th! Pre-Order Now This version of the song was created in collaboration with Aaron Berg (Mountainwalker), who helped me open up a completely new emotional dimension within the song. Shadow War has always been about the ways fear and division can turn us into enemies in our own minds, and how easy it is to see someone as “other,” or even monstrous, when we’re overwhelmed by our own shadows. This reimagined...
