Shadow War: Singularity
New music coming January 16th!
|
|
|
|
This version of the song was created in collaboration with Aaron Berg (Mountainwalker), who helped me open up a completely new emotional dimension within the song.
Shadow War has always been about the ways fear and division can turn us into enemies in our own minds, and how easy it is to see someone as “other,” or even monstrous, when we’re overwhelmed by our own shadows.
This reimagined version leans into that tension, but also into the possibility of compassion, connection, and transformation. It’s an invitation to look past the surface and find the warm, beating human heart underneath.

🌌 When it feels so hard, keep on trying
I have been working for awhile now on an 80s synth pop project with Chris Benelli. I had to put that on pause last year so I could work on Dark Matter, but we are making progress and I expect to share more about that in the coming months.
I'll probably be traveling a little less this year, and focusing more on this project as well as the Dark Matter Singularity singles.
I'll share more about the journey soon, and to paraphrase Brando Sando, it's always been more about the journey than the destination for me. Thanks for walking this road with me.
See you in the bright hue & shadow, stargazers. Jessi Robertson
